For the Goodwill Industries International network, this work is deeply aligned with our mission\u2014and it showed at Xforce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nearly one-third of Goodwill\u00ae organizations nationwide participate in the AbilityOne program, providing critical services and high-quality products to federal agencies. These services span a wide range of industries, including but not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Administrative and staffing support<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Call center operations and switchboard services<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Document destruction, records management, and imaging<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facility management and custodial services<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Food service and shelf stocking<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Groundskeeping and environmental services<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laundry and mail services<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manufacturing and sewing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reverse logistics and warehouse distribution<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through these contracts, Goodwill organizations help thousands of individuals build skills, earn wages, and achieve greater independence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goodwill was well-represented at this year\u2019s conference, including outstanding support from the host organization, Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, whose team ensured a welcoming and seamless experience for attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The conference also highlighted Goodwill\u2019s long-standing leadership in this space. During the event, Goodwill\u2019s role in helping to found SourceAmerica was featured, underscoring our deep and ongoing commitment to expanding access to employment for people with disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goodwill also played a featured role in a session on collaboration. At a time when policy decisions could significantly impact the AbilityOne program, collaboration and collective advocacy are more important than ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SourceAmerica has issued an action alert in response to a proposed policy change that could affect employment opportunities for individuals served by the program.
