He was looking for a career path that could sustain a different kind of life. He knew that a full life transition\u00a0required\u00a0more than just a &#8220;help wanted&#8221;\u00a0sign;\u00a0it\u00a0required\u00a0a strategy.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Robert enrolled in the Ignite 2.0 program with a specific goal: to increase his earning potential and find a stable, high-paying career. While he\u00a0already\u00a0had the drive, he used the program to gather the necessary tools, working through a six-week college capacity workshop, earning his\u00a0GED\u00a0and securing an industry-recognized\u00a0ServSafe\u00a0certificate.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Stacking the Skills for Success<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Robert\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0stop at the basics. With the support of\u00a0his\u00a0case manager\u00a0and career coach, he began to bridge the gap between where he was and where he wanted to be. He focused on mentorship and college readiness, eventually transitioning from the Ignite program to the halls of Pima Community College.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Today, Robert is a full-time student in the\u00a0machine\u00a0tool\u00a0technology program,\u00a0maintaining\u00a0a &#8220;hyper-focus&#8221; on his studies while managing the realities of adult life.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Balancing Work and Ambition<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A second chance is often built on the ability to balance the present with the future. Robert\u00a0also\u00a0applied for and earned a position as a full-time\u00a0retail\u00a0associate at Goodwill\u00ae. For Robert, this role\u00a0isn&#8217;t\u00a0just a job;\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0the engine that powers his education. He plans to continue working with the Goodwill team until he completes his\u00a0associate\u2019s\u00a0degree, using his employment to\u00a0maintain\u00a0stability while he masters the precision of machine tools.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A Vision of Independence<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Robert\u2019s journey\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0about luck;\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0about an action plan executed with discipline.
