You can help bolster the success of their visits and help strengthen Goodwill\u2019s public policy influence from the comfort of your home or office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take part in the Goodwill on the Hill Virtual Advocacy Day to make your voice heard! The Goodwill Legislative Action Center allows you to have a voice, and with one click of a button you can contact your member of Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/impact-spotlight\/dwayne-hodges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dwayne Hodges<\/a> from Goodwill of the Heartland (Davenport, IA) is one example of our great advocates. Dwayne notes, \u201cUpon walking into the offices at Goodwill\u2019s employment services, I did not feel like I was being judged because of where I had come from. The staff would even come and get me when I didn\u2019t have a vehicle, which helped me tremendously.\u201d Several years later Dwayne has earned his bachelor\u2019s degree and has been gainfully employed. Now he\u2019ll be telling his story on Capitol Hill.
